A 69-page Mira & Leo SEL storybook about worry, preparation, uncertainty, and flexible planning, for ages 4–10. Includes 50 full story pages plus discussion and practice resources.

Mira is excited about a field trip to SkyTrail Nature Discovery Center—but her mind keeps producing “what if” questions. She checks her backpack again and again without feeling ready. With Leo and Ms. Parker’s support, she learns how preparation leads to one useful action, while worry can keep circling after a plan is ready.

Notice • Check • Plan • Let Go

Children practise noticing worry thoughts and body clues, checking current facts, making a reasonable plan, responding flexibly to new information, and returning to the present activity.
